Nightmare is a demon-like entity that appears during Night 6 of Four Nights At Crazee's Mine and in the ending.

General Information[]

Nightmare seems to be a nightmarish incarnation of Crazee colored all black. However as opposed of Crazee, he has sharp teeth and fingers.

Nightmare seems to be able to teleport anywhere he wants in the mine and seems to be able to hide the whole camera feed with weird turquoise smoke.

Pattern[]

Nightmare goes through the highest number of rooms than any characters in the game. He moves every 5 seconds and laughs when he does so. He will teleport through random rooms and will eventually reach the office's Right Door. After the door is closed on him, he will appear at the Left Door. Closing it will reset his cycle. However, after he appeared 4 times at the Left Door and he's there again, the player must also close the right door along with the left one, or else he will jumpscare the player. Then each three times he will require the same operation to be done. Much like Crazee did on previous nights, if the player runs out of power during the night, Nightmare will appear at the left doorway and will laugh repeadetly before attacking. Also, at 5 AM, Nightmare will teleport in the office in the front of the player and will make the power run out. He will play Toreador March slowed down and will attack at 6 AM in the ending cutscene.

Story[]

In the ending of FNaCM, Nightmare is the first enemy to appear after Hexagon stares at the player, however he disappears as soon as Star Gem appears and does not appear anymore during the cutscene. It's unknown why this happens.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike Crazee, he does not wait for one hour before attacking during a normal power outage, thus disallowing the player to drain their power at 5 AM to finish the night early. However since Nightmare manually makes the mineshaft run out of power at 5 AM, it is not important.
  • Nightmare is the only character active during Night 6 (minus Golden Crazee)
  • Nightmare's jumpscare is only a closeup of his face with a distorted noise.
  • Nightmare is inspired by the character of the same name in FNAF.
